Professorship of Sport Didactics : TU Dortmund University (GER)

The Faculty of Arts and Sports Sciences at TU Dortmund University is seeking to fill the position of a Professor (W2) in Sport Didactics commencing as soon as possible.The successful candidate will specialize in research and teaching in the field of Sport Didactics.

TU Dortmund University is seeking an outstanding individual and established researcher in the field of didactics in school sport/empirical research in school sport with relevant national and international publications in recognized journals, including those with peer review.

Applicants should complement the research activities of the Faculty of Arts and Sports Sciences and contribute to interdisciplinary collaborative research projects within and outside TU Dortmund University (e.g. Dortmund Center for Research in School Sport).

Experience in raising third-party funds is expected.

It is a precondition that the applicant participates appropriately in teaching on the programs offered by the Department of Sports and Sports Science. This includes accompanying and organizing the internship semester.

The successful candidate will possess social and leadership skills and be willing to be involved in academic self-governance.

Preconditions for employment are specified in § 36 and § 37 HG NRW (law governing universities in NRW).
