AIESEP comes in 2018

The AIESEP family shares a common interest in physical education, physical activity and sport pedagogy across the lifespan. Its intent is to contribute to the development and impact of our field through the dissemination of high quality research, the recognition of scholarly excellence, the organization of high quality scientific events.

In 2018, two important meetings are planned:

(1) On July 25-28, the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK will host the AIESEP World congress focusing on a challenging theme ‘Engaging, empowering and innovative futures: enhancing connective possibilities for physical education and sports pedagogy’. Information and registration on http://aiesep2018.efconference.co.uk/

(2) On October 18-20, Fontys University in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, will propose the AIESEP Specialist Seminar ‘Future Directions in PE Assessment’. The Specialist Seminar is by invitation though there will be a limited number of places available for those interested who can contact Prof. Lars Borghouts (l.borghouts@fontys.nl)

The coming year will also be important for the AIESEP as the General Assembly that is planned every four years will be held during the World Congress. It means that a news Board of Directors will be elected. See Prof. Mary O’Sullivan previous blog for more details.

2018 is arriving. It will be a great year for us and the whole AIESEP Board will be happy to meet you at one of our activities and/or at any other occasion. Do not hesitate to join our friendly community.

Happy New Year, Bonne et Heureuse Année, Bhliain nua sásta, ¡feliz Año Nuevo! Frohes Neues Jahr, Feliz Ano Novo, Hyvää uutta vuotta, Felice anno nuovo, Gelukkig Nieuwjaar, Boldog új évet, с новым годом, Feliĉan Novjaron
