Erasmus+ Sport Programme Infoday – January 30, 2018

The European Commission and the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) will organise an “Infoday” on the Erasmus+ Programme in the field of Sport. The Infoday aims to inform potential applicants about funding opportunities in 2018.

The Sport Chapter in the Erasmus+ Programme aims to support European partnerships on grassroots sport in order to pursue the following objectives: (1) Tackle cross-border threats to the integrity of sport, such as doping, match fixing and violence, as well as all kinds of intolerance and discrimination; (2) To promote and support good governance in sport and dual careers of athletes; (3) To promote voluntary activities in sport, together with social inclusion, equal opportunities and awareness of the importance of health-enhancing physical activity, through increased participation in, and equal access to sport for all. Focus is to be given to grassroots sport.

During the infoday, speakers will discuss the policy, give advice and tips on preparing and submitting proposals, and provide support with the financial aspects of funding.

There will also be a chance to network and meet potential partners as well as to see examples of past Sport success stories.

Online web streaming for all sessions will be available through the page on the day of the event (EN-FR-DE-ES-IT).

January 30, 2018 – 08:30 to 17:30 at Charlemagne Building, Rue de la Loi, 170 B-1000, Brussels, Belgium (Metro station – “Schuman”)
