June 2026 AIESEP Newsletter
We are two weeks from the World Congress in Taipei, and we’re set to run our elections on June 18th for the new board. Please look for a personalized voting link sent from VERO voting systems THIS week (more on this below). A reminder that the nominees’ videos are located online for you to get familiar with the candidates. You can follow all AIESEP updates on our LinkedIn which is where you can find AIESEP Connect event links (the next one is June 5th). We are now also on Instagram! You can also catch up on position announcements, calls for papers, and other information on our constantly updated blog.
Elections Information
There are 10 candidates running for 6 institutional member seats, and 11 candidates running for 6 individual member seats. The position of secretary general has one candidate, while two candidates are nominees for president. In total, all nominees represent 14 countries across 4 continents. You can find 2-minute videos of each candidate on the AIESEP website under the members corner (you must be logged in). Voting will occur live using an online voting system June 18th, 16:20 Taiwan time during the general assembly. Each voting member will receive a unique link from Vero voting systems by the end of this week and the link will be active during the voting period. Those who cannot attend the Taiwan conference can still vote during this period from wherever they are (but it must be live). Remember, although ALL members (institutional or individual) get to vote for the president and secretary general, institutional members will be allowed to vote for only institutional board seats and individual members will be allowed to only vote for individual members. If you are an institutional member, please make sure you check to see who the representative is for your institution so your voting ballot gets delivered correctly.
