Curriculum Studies in Health & Physical Education

Please take note of thenewly re-branded journal, “Curriculum Studies in Health and Physical Education.” We are keen to use our professional networks to promote the Journal as a potential publication outlet throughout the HPE community.

The first edition of the journal was a Special Edition focusing on ‘Physical Education Teacher Education in a Global Policy Space’, under the guest editorship of Mary O’Sullivan and Missy Parker. The edition featured papers from leading scholars around the world to build the knowledge base and broadening geographical, theoretical and innovative writing about physical education teacher education. We are encouraging would-be contributors to visit the Journal website to familiarize themselves with the Aims and Scope and Author Guidelines.

Curriculum Studies in Health and Physical Education(CSHPE) applies a broad definition of curriculum for framing a wide range of educational issues, including the lived experiences of teachers and learners, as they relate to schools, universities and other forms of educational practice.

With a focus on social science scholarship, CSHPE publishes conceptually rich contributions in all areas of health and physical education, including those derived
from empirical, philosophical, sociological, and/or policy related investigations.
