As the Spectrum Institute of Teaching and Learning expands our programs, we have the opportunity for 5 applicants, globally, to be awarded our Sara Ashworth Graduate Student Assistantship-Scholarship Award.
What and for Whom?
- For graduate students pursuing a doctoral or master’s degree
- An award will fund costs associated with the completion of the degree at the given graduate student recipient’s university
- Fundable items include stipend, tuition and fees, fringe for university, escalation from year to year, and costs associated with the student’s Spectrum research
- Funding for a master’s degree up to 2 years and doctoral degree up to 4 years
- Required outcomes of an award recipient include presenting and publishing Spectrum research
Academic Advisor
- Criteria to serve as an academic advisor of an assistantship-scholarship recipient includes an established record of Spectrum research and teaching the Spectrum.
- An academic advisor will receive an annual stipend while overseeing an assistantship-scholarship recipient.
