Are you looking for ways to connect with colleagues who share your research interests?
Would you like to collaborate, learn, and contribute to a vibrant international community?
AIESEP Special Interest Groups (SIGs) offer exactly that opportunity.
What is a SIG?
A Special Interest Group, or SIG, is a community within AIESEP formed by members who share a common interest in a specific area of research. SIGs play an important role in AIESEP by creating spaces where members can:
- Deepen their research interests
- Connect with peers from around the world
- Support early career researchers
- Contribute to conferences and publications
- Share knowledge and ideas
- Build meaningful professional networks
In short, SIGs help you get more value from your AIESEP membership.
What do SIGs do?
SIGs are active and collaborative spaces. Their activities may include:
- Organizing events and discussion groups
- Offering research training opportunities
- Convening symposia and pre conference sessions
- Contributing to AIESEP news and initiatives
Whether you are new to the field or an experienced scholar, SIGs provide a welcoming environment to engage and grow.
