The School of Kinesiology invites applications for a full-time contract faculty position with an emphasis in secondary physical education available August 17, 2018 for the academic year. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate health and physical education teacher education courses and activity courses in the School of Kinesiology.
The School of Kinesiology is currently one of seven academic units in the College of Health at Ball State University. The School is housed in the Health and Physical Activity (HP) complex on the Ball State University campus.

Currently there are nearly 1,000 undergraduate students enrolled in the five undergraduate majors and 70 minors and nearly 145 graduate students enrolled in one of eight graduate programs.
Minimum qualifications: Earned master’s degree in physical education from an accredited college or university by date of appointment, with an emphasis in secondary physical education; has held or holds certification or licensure for teaching; minimum of two years K-12 teaching experience.
Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications: Doctoral Degree in Physical Education or closely related field from an accredited college or university, teaching experience in a college setting; Ability to teach a variety of physical activity courses.
