The Division of Kinesiology and Health at the University of Wyoming announces the availability of a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of Physical Education Teacher Education (appointment effective Aug 2021). Required qualifications include an earned doctorate or ABD (Summer 2021) with an emphasis in physical education teacher education, sport pedagogy or related field of research and evidence of scholarly productivity or potential. Effective university teaching including specific experience and expertise in the area of Elementary physical education content, methods, and assessment would be desirable. The UW PETE program has a rich history with AIESEP and has faculty members that have national and international recognition for their scholarly accomplishments and teaching excellence. There are over 400 undergraduates and 30 graduates majoring in the programs offered. The undergraduate PETE program is delivered through excellent on campus facilities and established relationships with teachers and schools across the State of Wyoming, USA.
