The Department of Kinesiology at the University of San Francisco invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin August 2020.
Job Responsibilities: Teaching undergraduate level lecture courses such as Motor Development, Exercise and Health Promotion, Introduction to Kinesiology, and other courses related to the candidate’s area of expertise. The candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of a USF Community Youth Development Institute. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a focused area of scholarship in a related field of study, advising and mentoring undergraduate students and service to the university, community, and profession.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Kinesiology prior to August 2020. A strong record of teaching at the university level, evidence of scholarship, and an understanding of and commitment to support the mission of the University of San Francisco are required.
