Join us for this AIESEP Connect session, hosted by the newly launched AIESEP Primary/Elementary Physical Education Special Interest Group (PE PE-SIG), as we explore contemporary issues impacting research and practice in primary/elementary physical education.
This session will delve into broad and pressing topics relevant to physical education in today’s modern primary and elementary schools. It features three presentations from members of the new PE PE-SIG, who are leading scholars in the field. Topics include pupil voice, curriculum policy, and the role of physical education within a broader whole-school movement culture.
Following the presentations, a moderated panel discussion will foster critical dialogue around future directions for research in primary/elementary physical education, with audience participation strongly encouraged.
