Submission of Papers for the Sport, Exercise and Health Journal

Dear Researchers,

We are delighted to inform you that the upcoming special issue dedicated to “Sport, Exercise & Health” within the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology Journal of Applied Research & Practice is approaching. The Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) has launched the MCAST Journal of Applied Research & Practice in 2018. This open-access journal is peer reviewed and available in both print and online and indexed in Index Copernicus International.  The MCAST Journal of Applied Research & Practice is now preparing its third special issue, dedicated to “Sport, Exercise & Health” which is aimed to be published in March 2027. This follows the first, and second issue, which were published in 2020 and 2022 respectively. We are pleased to welcome expressions of interest from prospective authors. Please find the Paper Submission Guidelines including the details of the submission process.

The proposed timeline is as follows:

Friday 20th February 2026: Expression of Interest

Friday 27th February 2026: Outcome communicated

Friday 29th May 2026: Submission of Papers

Friday 28th August 2026: Submission of Final Paper following Peer Reviewing

March 2027: Publication

Expressions should consist of an abstract of no more than 200 words prepared in accordance with the attached author guidelines. Please include all authors’ names and institutional affiliations and clearly indicate the corresponding author. Only selected papers, which will be communicated on the 27th of February, will be requested to submit their full manuscript by the 29th of May, 2026.
