Assistant Professor Position – University of New Mexico (USA)

The University of New Mexico is excited to share our search for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Physical Education Teacher Education (PETE) within the Department of Health, Exercise, and Sport Sciences. This position will begin Fall of the 2022-2023 academic year and is open to individuals with expertise in Physical Education from a broad range of areas that have research interests pertaining to education.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of courses in physical education at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral level; maintain an active research agenda; advise students; conduct appropriate service; supervise teacher candidates; and assist in program reports for accreditation.
