WORLD TEACHER GAMES: The largest event for teachers promoting physical education
The first edition of the World Teacher Games (www.worldteachergames.com) will take place in Région Sud, in the metropolis Toulon Provence Méditerranée, France, from May 5th to 10th, 2025.
Endorsed by the Erasmus+ Sport program of the European Commission and the European Parliament, this international event aims to enhance the role of physical education (PE) teachers and the broader field of physical education and sport as key drivers of youth empowerment, health, and well-being.
This professional, educational, and sporting initiative will comprise workshops on innovative pedagogical approaches in PE, team-based sporting activities designed to foster collaboration among teachers, qualified personnels and school representatives from across the globe, intercultural exchanges, and an international conference addressing the themes of engagement in PE and health promotion through sport.
The schedule of activities is as follows:
- May 5, 2025: Arrival of national and international participants at the main accommodation site in Le Pradet – Domaine de La Bayette.
- May 6 and 7, 2025: Workshops on PE pedagogy at the Toulon Congress Center.
- May 8 and 9, 2025: Team-based sporting challenges, including open-water relay swimming, trail running, beach volleyball, beach rugby, and air badminton.
- May 10, 2025: International conference at the Toulon Congress Center.
In the scope of the institutional partnership between AIESEP and the World Teacher Games, all teachers, students and PE experts can benefit from a 10% discount on their registration to the event with the code AIESEPWTG2025.
All members from schools, universities, cities and academies can join this first edition in teams of 4 to 6 people and they can register in a group via an organisation or individually.
