The International Association for Physical Education in Higher Education (AIESEP) is inviting applications for a part-time Administrative Support role. This position provides a unique opportunity for a doctoral student or early career researcher (ECR) to contribute to the work of AIESEP’s international Board of Directors and engage with a global scholarly community.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Board of Directors, (e.g., preparing meeting minutes, publishing AIESEP Blog submission).
- Facilitate official AIESEP communications, including email correspondence and calendar scheduling.
- Maintain and update content on the AIESEP website.
- Create visual communications and support the coordination of social media activity.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will bring:
- Current enrollment as a doctoral student or status as an early career researcher (<5 years post PhD completion), with eligibility maintained for the full duration of the four-year term.
- Experience using digital communication tools and basic website maintenance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliability and attention to detail in supporting routine administrative processes.
- Creativity and confidence in preparing visual materials and coordinating online engagement.
- An interest in and familiarity with AIESEP’s mission and community (e.g., through participation in events such as the AIESEP conferences or PhD Summer School).
- Availability to attend the annual AIESEP conference in person (with travel stipend provided).
Terms of Employment
- Term Length: 4 years (single term, non-renewable)
- Start Date: January 2026
- Compensation: €30 per hour for approximately 80-100 hours per year.
- Contract Type: Part-time, remote, with required attendance at the annual AIESEP conference.
