We invite the AIESEP community to the AIESEP Connect March session to be held on Friday, March 31st at 8 am (Melbourne time) and Thursday, March 30th at 5 pm (New York time). This session will discuss the Activist Approach to Physical Activity. The Activist Approach is a process that offers such an avenue to connect with learners. This approach incorporates young people’s interests, motivation, and learning needs by maintaining youth voice as integral and broadening youths’ perspectives on what is possible. This Activist Approach is grounded in feminist theory and critical pedagogies and has been developed through work with marginalised populations (e.g., girls, people of colour, and people in poverty) in the last 25 years.
