This conference commemorated the 25th anniversary of AIESEP.

Objectives:

1. To account for the formation of new programs which are already being employed and to prepare future trends (taking into consideration the needs of the different countries);
2. To identify the types of research which insure a scientific basis for the new developments;
3. To promote discussion on the «construction» of a body of knowledge common to all professional areas.
