The Department of Physical Education at West Point has a vacancy for an instructor of our Military Movement Course. Military Movement is an applied gymnastics course – basic tumbling, vaulting, trampoline, horizontal bar, vertical rope climbing, horizontal rope climbing, rock climbing, and Indoor Obstacle Course Test. A Master’s degree in Physical Education or related field is required. The ability to teach AND demonstrate gymnastics is required; the ideal candidate would also be able to teach Personal Fitness, and one or more Lifetime Physical Activity course (strength development, rock climbing, golf, cycling, skiing, snowboarding, tennis, volleyball, etc.).
