Jennifer’s research interests are in the field of dual careers of elite athlete schools and developmental psychology due to physical activity in childhood and youth. At the AIESEP World Congress in Edinburgh she will present her research on „German sportschools: Dual careers, chronic stress and protective resources – A three years longitudinal study comparing two different models“. Her recommendation for the Young Scholar Award came from Hans Peter Brandl-Bredenbeck.
„In the following years I want to continue with my research and support all activities for the Early Career Academic Networks in sport pedagogy. Exchanging ideas and even creating interdisciplinary task forces will essentially push forward PE and PA research. This way we can bring forward PE as an outstanding educational area from childhood onwards continuing throughout every individual´s life-course and biography. Therefore, AIESEP is a wonderful worldwide institution and platform.”
